Thank you for this review. I have been looking for a camera somewhere between my Canon R5 along with multiple lenses, and my Sony RX100VI. Basically, I'm looking for an "acceptable" utility camera.

Thank you for this review. I’m on the hunt for the same quest for a travel / hiking camera: a handheld / light camera with RAW capability, a solid zoom for the wider range of shots, and a size that if the gods are willing will fit in a largish jacket pocket. My old Canon Powershot back in the day was that workhorse - but I’ve since updated my requirements for usability so it’s been shelved: it only shoots in jpeg, the on camera screen is too low res, and the focus time is turtle speed. Looking forward to your future reviews.

I am looking for a travel camera as well. My iPhone 17Pro goes a long way covering the 14mm to 200mm full size frame equivalent….. but this camera is interesting in that it covers to 600mm full frame equivalent. I don’t want to be carrying a bunch of lenses. Looking forward to your review. Thanks

First-rate review, Anthony. Away back in 2015, I bought one of the original models "gently used." I actually loved it, but I totally missed a teensy-weensy spot of expanding fungus on the inside of the front element. I finally "noticed" it when photos started looking wispy. The spot had grown past the axis. Repairing it was not an option; cheaper to replace. I bought my first Sony alpha 6000. I thought the RX10 performed very well, and if the thing hadn't died, I might still be using it, but I am today a thoroughly committed APS-C man (four total bodies).
