I could speak for forever on this topic but some days when I question whether pursuing my writing or photography is worth it because of AI I hold on to the idea that it can’t be human no matter how “human like” it’s get and that’s what will always make my work unique. And well I didn’t spend over a decade training my eye to get replaced by a computer 😅 intresting read thank you!
This is all true and necessary, but for entertainment most people go to fiction - whether novels, TV, or Movies - and we don’t look negatively on those artists as we do with the prompt engineers.

Exactly. An image isn't a photograph. Thinking beyond that gives the machine more credit than it deserves.

So beautifully said. We must always hold on to what drives us when we photograph. To photograph with the heart.
